Spotters Group

Four specialist companies, one way of working.

Spotters Group brings together Fauna Spotters, Biosecurity Spotters, Heritage Spotters and Service Spotters. Each company does one job well, and all four share the same field standards.

Why separate companies

Protecting a koala, certifying a clean excavator, monitoring for cultural heritage and spotting under a live powerline are different jobs. They call for different training, permits, insurance and records. Keeping each discipline in its own company means the people you get are specialists in that work, and the paperwork you receive is clear about who did what.

Fauna Spotters, the first of the four, has supported Australian projects since 2018. Biosecurity Spotters, Heritage Spotters and Service Spotters were set up to bring the same approach to weeds and pest animals, heritage and site safety.

How the companies work

  • Specialist people. Field staff hold the licences, permits and tickets their tasks require.
  • Records from the field. Every shift, inspection, find, capture and stop work call is logged on site, so the evidence is ready when your environmental, approvals or safety team needs it.
  • Built around your program. Crews work to construction programs, support DIDO and FIFO rosters and mobilise to remote sites.
  • Clear quotes. Each company itemises its scope and pricing, so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Working with Traditional Owners

Heritage Spotters works alongside Traditional Owners and follows their direction on cultural matters. Cultural knowledge and decisions belong to the Traditional Owners for each area.
