Spotters Group

Specialist spotters for Australian projects

Fauna, biosecurity, heritage and safety spotters, from one family of companies.

Spotters Group brings together four specialist companies. Each one puts trained people in the field to protect wildlife, stop weeds spreading, look after heritage and keep crews clear of powerlines and buried services, so your project stays compliant and on program.

Most projects need more than one kind of spotter.

A single clearing front can disturb koala habitat, open ground with cultural heritage in it, bring plant from a weed-affected property and dig beside a live gas main, all on the same morning. Each of those risks needs a different set of skills, permits and records.

Rather than asking one team to cover everything, Spotters Group keeps each discipline in its own specialist company. Fauna Spotters looks after wildlife. Biosecurity Spotters looks after weeds, pest animals and hygiene. Heritage Spotters looks after Aboriginal, historic, built, natural and maritime heritage. Service Spotters looks after people and plant working near powerlines, buried services and other hazards. You engage the companies your project needs, and they plan around the same program.

Questions

Common questions about Spotters Group.

What is Spotters Group?

Spotters Group brings together four specialist companies: Fauna Spotters, Biosecurity Spotters, Heritage Spotters and Service Spotters. Each one focuses on a single discipline and supplies trained field people to Australian projects.

Is each Spotters company a separate business?

Yes. Each company has its own name, team, quotes and records. You engage the company that covers the work you need, and each one is responsible for the services it delivers.

Can I engage more than one company on the same project?

Yes. Many projects need fauna, heritage, biosecurity and safety spotters at the same stage. You can request quotes from each company, and the teams can plan their people around the same program.

What is the difference between a fauna spotter and a safety spotter?

A fauna spotter catcher protects wildlife during clearing and relocates animals out of harm's way. A safety spotter protects people and assets by watching hazards such as overhead powerlines, buried services and moving plant. Fauna Spotters covers the first role and Service Spotters covers the second.

Where do the Spotters companies work?

Across Australia. The companies support projects in every state and territory, including remote resources and renewables sites, and support DIDO and FIFO rosters.

How do I get a quote?

Each company quotes its own work. Choose the company that matches your scope and use its quote page, or call 1800 432 862 and the team will point you to the right company.
